Bringing a car? Bring your ID. We pay cash with a title, or by check without one under Florida derelict vehicle laws. Towing is deducted from the payout.

Our story
John G. Kastner moved to Florida from Philadelphia and started John's Famous Auto Parts in 1974, building it up from a single piece of land.
Today five of his seven children work in the company, along with his grandchildren. In 2024 the family celebrated 50 years of recycling in Northeast Florida.
We're still the same local yard: honest scales, plain answers and people who know their metals.

We buy ferrous metals like steel, sheet metal, cast iron, engines, lawn mowers, A/C units and appliances, and non-ferrous metals like copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, insulated wire, electric motors, radiators and car batteries. We also take specialty metals such as cupronickel and titanium, plus whole cars, trucks, SUVs and vans.
Yes. We accept A/C units, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers and dishwashers at all of our scrap yards. Freon must be removed before you bring A/C units, refrigerators, freezers or dehumidifiers.
